The annual light parade is a tradition in Madera that begins the Holiday Season with a spectacular Christmas celebration of lights. Every year the event is hosted by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greaterkiwanis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Madera Kiwanis Club<\/a> and the Downtown <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-1225 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.purlsheetmetal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_7531_1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_7531_1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.purlsheetmetal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_7531_1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.purlsheetmetal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_7531_1-1024x682.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Association.<\/p>\n<p>The light parade began 21 years ago as a procession of farm equipment and tractors down historic Yosemite Avenue in Madera, CA. It was a great way to celebrate the end of the harvest and begin the Holiday Season. Today, the parade route continues down Yosemite Avenue and still includes tractors and\u00a0harvesters as well as fire trucks, cars, semi-trucks, flatbed trailers and just about anything else you can put lights on. There is only one qualification to enter \u2026 each vehicle must have a minimum of 100 lighted Christmas lights. Madera residents line the streets of Yosemite Avenue and cheer for their favorite entries. Spectators can view the parade and wander through downtown business locations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purl\u2019s Sheet Metal<\/strong> will be entering the parade again with their fleet of antique fire apparatus decorated and loaded with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.purlsheetmetal.com\/about\/staff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Purl\u2019s Sheet Metal employees <\/a>and families. We partner our entry with our friends from <a href=\"http:\/\/warnockfoods.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Warnock Food Products<\/a> of Madera with a total entry of 6 to\u00a07 antique fire engines. It is a great evening for us to bundle up and barbeque hot dogs, drink hot cocoa and sing some Christmas carols.
